Accessibility
Making your site accessible is so important, not only because it’s the right thing to do, but also because it maximizes the number of people who can use and interact with your site.
Section 508
If you’re working for the Federal government in any capacity, you should review Section 508, a set of regulations that dictate how web sites designed for federal agencies should be implemented. At first glance, the rules are a bit constraining, but there’s a lot of good stuff there that can guide you toward producing sites that work better for everyone, even if you are not working for a government agency.
